Emily Dickinson Performance at the Library

Come celebrate the season with one of the world’s most renowned literary figures this December 3rd at the Southbury Public Library. Enjoy a new play about the famous American poet Emily Dickinson, entitled Inside Emily Dickinson: Her life and work on Wednesday, December 3rd from 1-2:30pm in the library’s Kingsley Meeting Room. Actress Ginger Grace will use Emily Dickinson’s poetry and letters to create a story about her life in this delightful biographical portrait – just in time for the poet’s 184th birthday. At the end of the play, Ginger will incorporate brief, written notes from the audience into an interactive portion of the performance.

This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Southbury Public Library. Complimentary refreshments will also be provided by the Friends. Registration is required for this free event. Please call 203-262-0626 ext. 130 to register.

Acclaimed actress Ginger Grace toured nationally in plays and acted in New York and regional theater.
