The Truck Stop Troubadours are a Western Mass/CT. based band bringing back a classic outlaw country sound mixed with hints of Rockabilly and Americans. The bans has been performing since 2010 and has been gaining a solid fan base that extends to country and non-country fans alike. Landing them prime spots on the Town and County fair market as well as opening for national acts such as John Michael Montgomery, Dwight Yoakam, Kenny Rogers and Charlie Daniels Band.~

Born and raised in tobacco farm town in Connecticut traditional country Brian Chicone followed his heart and love for country music to Nashville where he lived for 10 years gigging and defining his own music style on Lower Broad at clubs ans venues like Layla's Bluegrass Inn, Robert's Western World, Tootsie's, Second Fiddle and Legend's Corner. Brian shared the stage with some of Nashville's top musicians and Opened shows for artists such as Shooter Jennings, BR5-49, Dale Watson, Hank Williams III, JYPSI and many other. His Nashville line up of his backing band The Truck Stop Troubadours took him on tour all around the South and out to Texas where he soaked in the sounds of the Austin scene. Brian returned home to New England in 2008 bringing back with him his knowledge of the Nashville and Austin scenes and a notebook full of original songs. In 2010, Brian decided the time was right to re-form a band that would stand for the tradition of country music with the LEGENDS of the past like Waylon, Cash, Buck and Ray Price guiding his way.
