Soutbury First Selectman Updates Residents on Winter Storm

Southbury residents - Please be aware that although the travel ban has been lifted, road conditions are making travel difficult. If at all possible, please remain at home until our crews can clear the roads. Please allow for extra time in the morning when getting to work.

Region 15 has canceled school for Wednesday, March 15.

- If you have a medical emergency, please call 911.

- If you are without power, please call Eversource at 1-800-286-2000.

- If you have wires down that are creating an immediate safety hazard, please call 911.

- If you have non-emergency issues, please wait until the storm has passed.

- Please do not call the Public Works Department or the Police Department to have your road plowed-our crews will get to each road as soon as possible.

- Police, Fire, and Ambulance remain on stand-by to respond to any emergencies as they arise.

We thank you for your patience as the town continues to respond to the heavy snowfall.
