Inspirit Healing Studio and the Healing Arts Sanctuary in the historic 1770’s house at 346 Main Street South in Woodbury will host a day-long “Soulful Saturday” series of Amp Up Your Life talks, inspirational workshops, vendor tables, food providers and live remote KBJB radio coverage on May 13 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
The ‘soul-inspired’ series of “Events With A Purpose” will offer classes, talks, and workshops featuring speakers and healers from around the globe. The day-long program is designed to offer attendees resources as medicine for the mind, body, and soul.
“Soulful Saturday” is being hosted by acclaimed spiritual medium and healer, Jeanne Street author of “The Goddess You: Principles of Living in Soul Alignment” and founder of Inspirit Healing Studio at 346 Main Street South in Woodbury, and Sue Martovich the owner of Salt of the Earth Spa and the Salt of the Earth Healing Arts Sanctuary also at 346 Main Street South.
“The Goddess Approach to Health” talk by Jeanne Street will open “Soulful Saturday” at 10:00 a.m. with instruction for integrating superfoods into daily lifestyles for healing and raising energetic vibrations.
“From Pain to Purpose” class at 10:30 a.m. will be presented by licensed psychotherapeutic counselor Marie Alana LaChance who will offer participants ways to release themselves from mental pain to living life fully.
“Ten Steps To Perfect Health” will be offered from 11 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. by internationally-trained and acclaimed health and fitness coach Paulo Fernandes. CEO of Total Health Transformation, an international speaker, corporate consultant and nutrition specialist, Coach Fernandes’ clients include Hollywood stars and individuals with complicated health challenges.
“Creating Yourself In Every Moment” will be offered at 12:00 noon by Reiki practitioner, UCONN Certified Master Gardener and massage therapist Sheree Surdam.
“Movement As Medicine” will be offered at 12:30 p.m. by yoga instructor Ellen Barrett who utilizes techniques typical to Beach Yoga to help energize the body, calm the nervous system, inspire an individual’s spirit, and cleanse the body’s airways.
An “Integrated Approach To Lyme Disease” educational class is scheduled from 1:00 and 2:30 p.m. by a master herbalist and nutritional motivational speaker Andrea Candee who offers more than 30 years of experience in medicinal self-help herbs.
“Connecting To Your Heart’s Longing” guided meditation will be led from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. by Marie Alana LaChance for a separate fee of $25. Participants are asked to bring a yoga mat and blanket for comfort during the meditation.
A “Crystal Cymbalogy Singing Bowl Concert” to “Empower the Divine Feminine” will be a sound journey to help attendees connect with their Divine self and scheduled at 4:00 p.m. with Rick and Cynthia Quintanal an intuitive healer and Reiki Master.
“Writing From The Heart” workshop will be offered by Reiki practitioner, UCONN Master Gardener and massage therapist Sheree Surdam from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. for a separate fee of $25. Participants are asked to bring a journal, pen and yoga mat.
