Children's Health and Safety Fair

Griffin Hospital will be offering free CPR Anytime training and health insurance assistance at The 13th Annual Children’s Health and Safety Fair on Sept. 21.

CPR Anytime is a non-certifying CPR program for anyone who wants to learn basic CPR skills, choking relief and AED awareness. Participants will receive their own CPR Anytime kit so that they can share the skills with close family and friends. The kit includes a manikin, instructional DVD and pamphlet.

The roughly half hour program will be at 9:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m., and 12:30 p.m. To secure a spot or for more information, call Cathi at 203.732.1337.

Individuals interested in enrolling in Access Health CT can get free, one-on-one help from certified assisters at the fair. The Access Health CT assisters can offer guidance when selecting coverage, verify that all paperwork is completed properly, check if an individual qualifies for financial aid, and help complete enrollment. Call 203.732.1136 or email msessa@griffinhealth.org for more information.
