Chocolate Dipped Apples at Craft Fair and more

Among the 100 juried crafters at the Ridgefield Woman’s Club Craft Fair this Saturday is Sweet Creations with their gourmet apples.  A large crisp granny smith apple is dipped in warm creamy caramel then coated with mild, dark or white chocolate and topped with either chocolate chips, oreos, toffee, coconut or nuts.

The 44th Annual Craft Fair is Saturday, November 22, 10 to 4, at East Ridge Middle School.   Artisans from New York and New England area will be selling hand crafted items including holiday and home décor items, knits, jewelry, pottery, food gifts, children and pet gift and much more.  Refreshments and light lunch will be available for purchase.  Admission is $7; children under 12 are admitted free.  All proceeds benefit local scholarships and community programs in Ridgefield and the surrounding area.  Discount coupons available in the Nov. 20 issues of the Ridgefield Press and Danbury NewsTimes.
