American Soccer Legend Curt Onalfo will be in Ridgefield on December 27!

Ridgefield FC Premier (RFC) is hosting Off the Pitch with Curt Onalfo, a Clinic/Meet and Greet with this Ridgefield native and soccer legend, on Saturday, December 27, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Onalfo was a High School All-American at Ridgefield High School and later moved into the college ranks (University of Virginia).  In his esteemed career, he was also a member of the U.S. Youth National Team (U-20s),  the U.S. Olympic Team in 1992, and several pro teams both abroad and in the U.S.  He is a true success story and on his way to the top he battled and defeated Hodgkin's disease. Following his playing career he moved into the coaching ranks and served as an assistant coach on the Mens U.S. National Team from 2003-2007. In addition, he served as the Head Coach at DC United and Sporting KC both of the MLS.  Following his stints with those teams Onalfo found his way back to MLS Powerhouse, the LA Galaxy, reuniting him with his former College Coach, Bruce Arena.  Coach Onalfo is still there today serving as an Assistant Coach to the LA Galaxy First Team and the Head Coach of the LA Galaxy II, the club's reserve team that participates in the USL/Pro Soccer league.
