Book Riot, a website dedicated to news, reviews and commentary on books and reading, just released their list of top three bookstores in each state. The Hickory Stick Bookshop in Washington Depot was named top as were two other Connecticut indies: Byrd's Books in Bethel and Books on the Common in Ridgefield.
Book Riot publisher said, "I asked Rioters from across the country to tell me their favorite bookstores in every state (plus Washington, DC!) and why they love it so much."
Book Riot's Rebecca Hussey said, "A comprehensive bookstore with a great small town New England feel and an amazing children’s section."
