May 4, 2016 Town and School Budget Referendum Information
Voter Registration Deadlines:
- May 3, Noon: The last date to register to IN PERSON or ONLINE. (Click to go to Connecticut Online Voters Registration.)

- If you don't know if you are registered to vote, you can look it up at Voter Registration Lookup website.
- Election Day Voter Registration is not available for Referendum.
- Property owners who are not registered voters in Southbury may vote at the referendum providing they are U.S. Citizens, at least 18 years of age and own property valued at $1,000 or more recorded on the Southbury Grand List as of October 1, 2015.
Polling Location and Time:
- All voting will be held at the Firehouse at 461 Main Street South.
- All elections, primaries and referenda are from 6AM - 8PM.

Any elector who is permanently physically disabled can receive an absentee ballot for referendum without reapplying. Click to find out the details.

- Proposed Town of Southbury Budget
- Annual Town Meeting will be held on May 2, 2016 to discuss the 2016-2017 proposed municipal budget.
- Proposed Region 15 Budget
- Southbury Community Services offers transportation for Southbury residents age 60+ and those with disabilities. If you need a ride to the polling place, please call 203-262-0652 to reserve the ride. Reservations must be made no later than 10:00 AM on Tuesday, May 3rd.
- Voters must provided identification to vote at the polling place. Acceptable forms of identification include: a driver's license or other photo ID; U.S Passport; a pre-printed form of ID, like a tax bill or utility bill, pay stub or bank statement; Social Security card or other government document that shows your name and address; a document that shows your name and signature (i.e. a credit card).
