Oxford Resident Trooper’s Office Investigates Residential Burglary

The Oxford Resident Trooper’s Office and Oxford Police are investigating a residential burglary reported on Jacks Hill Rd. in Oxford. Oxford Officers are seeking the public’s help in identifying the suspect.

On June 24, 2016 at approximately 2:35 p.m. Oxford Police responded to a residential burglary reported on Jacks Hill Rd. in Oxford. Upon arrival officers spoke with the victim who stated that on June 24, 2016 possibly between 10:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m., someone entered the residence. The victim reported that an undisclosed amount of money was stolen from the residence.

Video surveillance footage revealed the suspect as a light-skinned, possibly white male wearing a light color shirt and dark pants with a large 35mm-type camera around his neck.
