Woodbury Resident State Trooper's Office Investigates Home Invasion

On October 19, 2016 at approximately 1:20 p.m. troopers from Troop L -Litchfield and police officers from the Woodbury Resident State Trooper's Office responded to Good Hill Rd. in Woodbury for a reported home invasion.

Upon arrival a 13 year old female reported that a white male entered the residence through a rear door while she was home.  The male suspect then exited the residence after a brief exchange about who lived at the residence with the juvenile.

Investigators checked the residence to ensure the male suspect was not in the residence. The male suspect was last seen by the juvenile running west on Route 371 away from the residence.

A state police K9 team responded and conducted a search of the area.  The male suspect was not located.

The suspect is described as a white male with dark hair and facial hair.  The juvenile believed the suspect to be 20-40 years old.

Anyone who thinks they may have any information regarding this home invasion or the male suspect is asked to call the Woodbury Resident State Trooper's Office at 203-263-3400 or text TIP711 with any information to 274637.  All calls will be kept confidential.
