Guided Meditation with Live Cello Music community event at UUC Stamford on June 15

On Thursday, June 15, the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Stamford will host a unique event: Guided Meditation with Live Cello Music - a workshop presented by cellist Ilya Levitin.

The workshop is part of the Mum's List Legacy Program which was developed by humanitarian, internationally renowned psychotherapist and spiritual mentor Derek O'Neil and was inspired by the best-selling book and acclaimed movie, Mum's List.

This workshop has the potential to create big shifts in people's lives. By identifying the root-cause behind any physical, mental and emotional imbalance or dis-ease, participants can address the underlying issue and create healthy and happy relationships with their partner, friends, family, colleagues, money, food, and most importantly, with themselves!

Ilya Levitin was born in Moscow and, after immigrating to the US, finished his classical cello studies at the Manhattan School of Music. Ilya’s journey brought him to study with Derek O'Neil around 2010. Derek helped Ilya to cope with the biggest loss in Ilya’s life – passing of his spiritual teacher, Ma Jaya, in 2012. Derek's teachings helped Ilya to stay aware and positive while facing everything life presents in any given moment.

Ilya accepted Derek's invitation to become a Mum's List Legacy teacher with deep gratitude. Ilya sees this as an opportunity to share his own life experiences and the way the tools presented in this workshop helped him deal with life's many challenges.

If you would like to experience self-discovery through guided meditation and visualization exercises accompanied by the soothing sounds of live cello music, we invite you to take 90 minutes out of your day to slow down, recharge and participate in this workshop on Thursday, June 15 at 7pm (please arrive at least 15 min. prior). UUC of Stamford is at 20 Forest street.
