MONTY PYTHON’S THE MEANING OF LIFE is a 1983 British sketch comedy film written and performed by the Monty Python troupe (Graham Chapman, John Cleese, Terry Gilliam, Eric Idle, Terry Jones and Michael Palin). It was the last film to feature all six Python members before Graham Chapman’s death in 1989. THE MEANING OF LIFE is without a doubt the most tasteless of the Monty Python feature films - it also happens to be one of the funniest. Life's questions are "answered" in a series of outrageous vignettes. One of the hilarious bits involves the National Health doctors who try to claim a healthy liver from a still-living donor, pointing out that there's nothing in his contract preventing this. THE MEANING OF LIFE, which screened at the 1983 Cannes Film Festival, was included in a 2010 list of the top 20 cult films published by The Boston Globe.

Opening Film of the 2017 Berlin Film Festival, DJANGO is a powerful biopic which will immerse viewers in a tumultuous chapter in the life of one of the 20th century's greatest musical geniuses: Django Reinhardt, the legendary Romani jazz guitarist. Reinhardt, elegantly interpreted by Reda Kateb (A PROPHET, ZERO DARK THIRTY), is the toast of 1943 Paris, thrilling audiences with his distinctive brand of “hot jazz” and charming his admirers including his muse played by Cécile de France.  But even as the rise of Nazism forces Reinhardt — whose music is considered degenerate under the Third Reich — to make a daring escape from Paris, he refuses to be silenced as his music becomes a form of protest.  Reda Kateb’s performance is simply impressive in this spirited biopic that will keep audiences tapping their toes.
