The Ferguson Library will present an evening of wine, food, and conversations about food with authors Lucinda Scala Quinn and Jane Green on Tuesday, October 25 at 6:30 p.m. The doors will open at 6:30 p.m. for a wine and appetizer reception, and the program begins at 7 p.m. A book sale and signing will follow.
Lucinda Scala Quinn is the author of Mad Hungry: Feeding Men and Boys, and is the country's foremost evangelist for family meals every day of the week. The host of her own television show, Mad Hungry: Bringing Back the Family Meal, she also co-hosted Everyday Food on PBS for six years. Her new book is Mad Hungry Family: 120 Essential Recipes to Feed the Whole Crew.
Jane Green, a former journalist in the UK and a graduate of the International Culinary Center in New York, is the New York Times bestselling author of 18 novels, including Falling. In her new cookbook, Good Taste: Simple, Delicious Recipes for Family and Friends, she shares tips on entertaining, ideas for making any gathering a cozy and classy affair, and some of her favorite dishes.
