I-95 Lane Closures Announced in Stamford

This applies only to Stamford residents or anyone using I-95 at Night or Early Morning:

The Connecticut Department of Transportation has announced there will be occasional lane and shoulder closures on I-95 Northbound and Southbound between Exit 8 and Exit 9 in Stamford between 7:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. over the next six weeks. The project will start today, November 29th. These closures are necessary to facilitate the ongoing rehabilitation of the bridge over Metro-North Railroad.

Lane Closure Information

I-95 Northbound and Southbound shoulders will be closed intermittently between the hours of 7:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. over the next six weeks. Additionally, South State Street has been closed from Lafayette Street to North State Street. South State Street Eastbound traffic has been diverted to Lafayette Street. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
