New Canaan wants to erect a tower in Stamford for the sole purpose of supporting their outdated emergency communication system. Their officials claim there is no suitable location in their own town for this tower and have asked our city officials to change Stamford zoning laws to accommodate it. It has no benefit to Stamford. Except to create an eyesore that will decrease our property values.
