RMACT is Designated Leader in LGBTQ Healthcare Equality

At RMACT, we are proud to say that we are committed to helping ALL people build their families. Making sure that we treat all our patients in a respectful, professional and compassionate way is one way to prove how steadfast we are to this commitment.

This year we were presented with another exciting opportunity to reaffirm this sentiment. The entire staff, in a large-scale collaborative effort, underwent rigorous examination and training that delved into every aspect of the RMACT patient experience.

We are proud of and humbled by the result of this effort – our designation as “Leader in LGBTQ Healthcare Equality” from the Human Rights Campaign Foundation (HRC), the educational arm of the nation’s largest lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) civil rights organization.

In 2017, only three medical facilities have been recognized in the state of Connecticut, and RMACT is the only reproductive endocrinology practice to have shown passed their rigorous criteria.

What it means for the patients of RMACT as a designated Leader in LGBTQ Healthcare Equality, is that you can expect to not only be treated with excellent clinical care, but also with respect, compassion and empathy…no matter who you are. We’re so proud to share our team’s success, which reaffirms our commitment to support the goals of all patients, all people, ALL families – because Success Matters for Everyone.
