Connecticut Closet & Shef Partners with Stamford-based Matt Baier Organizing

Connecticut Closet & Shelf, Fairfield County’s unique family owned and operated custom storage design, manufacture and installation firm, is partnering with Stamford-based Matt Baier Organizing, LLC for a ‘Spring Initiative’ that offers clients a complimentary professional organizing consultation.

“We have noticed that many of our clients are overwhelmed by their storage needs,” says Cindy Bernier, president & owner at Connecticut Closet & Shelf.   “Partnering with Matt Baier Organizing seemed a natural progression to what we do. We specialize in creating efficient, well-designed storage spaces like closets, pantries, garages, etc, but we do not organize the stuff of people's lives.   Our ‘Spring Initiative’ means some of our clients will be able to take advantage of a free consultation with a professional organizer and learn how to attain and maintain greater clarity in their home...how great is that! “

Matt Baier, owner at Matt Baier Organizing, agrees that his firm and Connecticut Closet & Shelf work in perfect tandem.   “I always like to clarify the distinction between de-cluttering to get organized and setting up systems to stay organized,” he says.  “These systems are made up of two essential components: an easy habit and the appropriate structure. My company can help with the habit and a company like Connecticut Closet & Shelfcan help with the structure.”

So how will the partnership actually work?  “Before or after our installation some of our clients will choose to schedule a consultation with Matt Baier Organizing at their home to discuss their problems,” says Bernier. “Once the organizing team gets clear on the quantities that are being kept, our firm will design and create the appropriate storage structure.”

Baier looks forward to offering a complimentary consultation to Bernier’s customers.  “Professional organizing is still a relatively new and unknown business, so I am always happy to have opportunities to explain its value and how we can help,” he says.  “Providing an organizing consultation to someone interested in getting her home organized, is a great way to explain that value.”

Bernier hopes that her Spring Initiative, which runs from March 21 through June 21, will not only introduce clients to a select, local member of the National Association of Professional Organizers for future needs etc., but also help them further appreciate all Connecticut Closet & Shelf has to offer.
