As another election night has come and gone I have started to reflect on this tumultuous election year. My first reaction is one of thanks and appreciation – I would like to extend a thank you to the voters of the 36th Senatorial District here in Connecticut. To my constituents in Greenwich, New Canaan and Stamford, I offer you a sincere thank you.
It continues to be a huge privilege and honor to have your trust and confidence.
I would also like to take this time to thank the numerous volunteers who worked on my campaign – including many friends and family members. Without your hard work and commitment this victory would not have been possible.
We have a long road ahead of us in order to fix our financial house in Connecticut. I am thrilled to announce that we have picked up three State Senate seats and have established an unprecedented 18-18 split. I believe this will allow us to work better together, across party lines to establish a business climate that allows for a balanced budget and does not increase taxes.
It is an honor to continue to serve you and I look forward to the strides that we will be able to make throughout my next term as your State Senator from the 36th District.
State Senator L. Scott Frantz
