Westport Welcomes Tiny Miracles Foundation, May 2

In a desire to increase its visibility in order to help more families, this year, for the first time in its 9-year history, The Tiny Miracles Foundation (TTMF) is presenting its annual gala – the Foundation's primary fundraiser - in Westport.

The Gala, "A Night of Miracles", will be presented on May 2nd at The Inn at Longshore. Among the many supporters from the Westport business community, donors include Balanced Nutritional Counseling, Callari Auto Group, Castle Wine & Spirits, Coastal Obstetrics & Gynecology, Genevieve Lau Jewelry, Grey Goose, Honda of Westport, Imperial Dental, Inn at Longshore, Laurie Wright Photography, Lifeworx, Le Farm, Liquor Locker, Little Goose, Mitchell's of Westport, Philip Bruce Salon, Saugatuck Sweets – Candy Bar, Westport Country Playhouse, The Westport Inn, Westport Wash & Wax, The Whelk, and many individual Westport families.

The Tiny Miracles Foundation is dedicated to providing vital support and assistance to families with premature infants in the greater Fairfield County area, and to helping the medical community provide the best possible care for premature babies and their families. Founded by two mothers of severely premature twins in 2004, TTMF is now beginning its second decade of providing critical support to families facing the crisis of premature birth through programs and services at Bridgeport, Danbury, Norwalk and Stamford Hospitals, as well as to the preemie community at large. Helping over 1,200 local families per year, and countless others who use their website, TTMF remains the only organization to provide comprehensive support for families of premature infants in the region.

The gala co-chairs for the event this year are Jennifer Lau of Westport, Lisa Broder of Fairfield and Marisela Esposito of Weston, who are all parents of premature babies.

Many Westport families play major roles in TTMF as a result of the support they received after the birth of their own premature babies. In addition to serving on event, outreach and educational committees, parents also serve as mentors and advisors to new parents and are available to families both at the hospitals and in the parents' homes.

The Tiny Miracles Foundation is a 501©3 non-profit organization. This year's "A Night of Miracles" is the Foundation's primary fundraiser and all funds raised support its many programs and services. The evening includes a silent and live auction, cocktails, strolling dinner and dancing.
