Are you thinking about creating a website for your small business? Experts Jeff Seaver and Jon Dupree will present a workshop on WordPress, a free open source platform that allows you to build an agile, flexible website on Tuesday, April 14, from 6-8 pm in the Westport Library’s McManus Room. Seaver and Dupree will describe and demonstrate the features of this online tool that is used by bloggers, corporations, individuals and institutions. Advance registration with SCORE at scorenorwalk.org is suggested. Sign-in is at 5:30 pm; workshop 6-8 pm. Co-sponsored with Fairfield County SCORE.

This workshop is an overview for both beginning & intermediate users. Participants will learn how to set up a website in minutes, the difference between standard and customized themes, an overview of useful widgets and plug-ins, managing users and site administration and taking WordPress to the next level.
