Linda Schreyer, co-author with Jo-Ann Lautman of the book “Tears and Tequila,” will discuss this story of love, loss, friendship, courage and renewal on Wednesday, May 13, at 7 pm in the Westport Library’s McManus Room. Books will be available for purchase and signing at the program, which is free and open to the public. The book tells of the healing that happens in a community in which everyone is missing someone dear.
“At some point in our lives all of us will be forced to endure grief. ‘Tears and Tequila’ eloquently and humorously portrays the agony that we must deal with to come to terms with the finality of death. There truly is a light at the end of the tunnel and this special book beautifully depicts this,” says Melissa Rivers, actress, television host, and producer. "With compassion and a light hand which only true understanding can provide, the authors impart important life lessons on how to cope with grief and find a new path to happiness," says Edie Lutnick, Co-Founder and President of The Cantor Fitzgerald Relief Fund.
