Westport Sunrise Rotary’s 7th Annual Great Duck Race - June 13

Join a great day of family fun on Jesup Green. Saturday, June 13th. The seventh running of the Westport Sunrise Rotary’s Great Duck Race.

This year, bigger and better than ever.

Our ducks will once again swim for charity. Buy a numbered $20 ticket, sponsor the racing duck with the matching number. If your duck bobs across the finish line first you win $5,000; second, you take home $1,000; it’s one of the next eight, you pocket $500—prizes totaling $10,000.

Bigger winners are the two dozen non-profits your ticket purchases support—from area organizations such as Andrew’s Army, CLASP Homes, ElderHouse, Mercy Learning Center, Project Morry, Smart Kids with Learning Disabilities, The Susan Fund and Westport Warm-Up Fund.

Come enjoy a day full of activities—children’s arts and crafts, games, face painting, a magician, a bouncy castle, food trucks for your lunch—and watch Westport leaders get plunged into a dunk tank. And help judge ducks decorated by race sponsors.

And there’s something new this year—Staples Interact Club is sponsoring the Great Duck Race 5K Fun Run. It’s open to all and will start at 9:00 am in the Imperial Avenue parking lot and finish at Jessup Green. Entry fee is $25, with all net proceeds being donated to  to benefit Homes With Hope.
