Reading Aloud to Children Workshop at the Westport Library

A Children’s librarian from the Westport Library will model techniques for reading aloud to children from birth through adolescence on Tuesday, October 20, at 7 pm in the Library’s McManus Room. The program, free and open to the public, supports this year’s School Volunteer Association (SVA) of Bridgeport’s Read Aloud Day. SVA is a non-profit organization that provides volunteer services to Bridgeport Public Schools.

The workshop is also recommended for teachers, education majors, parents, grandparents, volunteers or any adult who reads to children. An emphasis will be on reading aloud to a classroom of children. Please register.
