Richard Deej Webb, curator and producer is an author, educator, historian and documentary filmmaker. A featured presenter in the Connecticut Public Broadcasting Prohibition documentary Connecticut Goes Dry, he is also creator and producer along with Robert Williams of Boats Against The Current, the F. Will Fulton Will has lived most of his life in Fairfield County, exploring the terrain and the nuances of the many varied communities in this suburban paradise. Hooked on movies at an early age – particularly those concerning suburbia – he fondly remembers watching these films on one of the 7 channels available in the pre-cable days of the ’70s and ’80s. He is excited to share and discuss this unique slice of life with Fairfield County “colleagues” who may not have experienced it firsthand!
Joining us for the last three films will be Dan Woog. Dan is a writer and blogger, with a special focus on the wonders of Fairfield County. His parents moved to Westport in 1956. They lived on the same street as his father’s college friend: Rod Serling. Dan is also the boys varsity soccer coach at Staples High School.
