Get Your Downton Abbey Fix at the Westport Library

Watch the fourth season of "Downton Abbey," beginning Thursday, November 6, at 2 pm, in the Westport Library’s McManus Room. Viewings of the popular PBS series, which continue every Thursday (except November 27) until December 18, are free and open to the public. Prepare for about the fifth season, which begins in January.

The story begins six months after Downton Abbey's tragedy; Mary is mired in grief, and the estate is engulfed in death taxes. As the family struggles to lift financial and emotional woes, clashes arise, and it’s up to the older generation to bring Mary back to life and Robert to his senses.

Amidst dark secrets, budding romances and surprising revelations, Downton Abbey stars Maggie Smith, Hugh Bonneville, Elizabeth McGovern, Michelle Dockery, Shirley MacLaine, Paul Giamatti and the rest of the stellar cast in the award-winning series from Julian Fellowes.
