Announcing the #youneedallstar Campaign Against Bad Driving

Everyone seems to know a bad driver, and everyone has their stories about seeing one on the road. From weaving in and out of lanes, to speeding, to leaving snow on the roof of your car, unsafe driving practices can and should be avoided by all. To help spread awareness of bad driving techniques, All-Star Driver, Connecticut’s Leader in Driver’s Education, will be launching its #youneedallstar campaign.

Beginning on January 15, 2015 the #youneedallstar campaign is a program designed to help the public spread awareness about unsafe driving practices. The campaign encourages students and parents alike to submit their stories and eyewitness accounts of unsafe driving on the road. At the end of the campaign, one post will be chosen and the respective poster will receive a $500 cash prize. Stories can be posted to All-Star Driver’s Facebook page or to All-Star Driver’s Twitter account with the hashtag #youneedallstar.

All-Star Driver’s general manager, Brandon Dufour is committed to educating the public about safe driving. “It is our mission to educate a generation of safe drivers to cause a cultural shift in the way people act on the roads. Death and injury caused by traffic accidents is a curable disease. We believe by providing quality education, we can create the cure.”

The #youneedallstar campaign will run from January 15, 2015 to March 15, 2015. One story will be chosen by the public at the end of the campaign and the winner will be notified via the medium they submitted their post through.
