Two special programs for people in business are scheduled in January at the Westport Library. Both are free and open to the public, and will be held in the Library’s McManus Room.
Tuesday, January 6, 6-8 pm: Setting Goals and Staying on Track. David Albright, former business executive and current consultant to venture capital firms, will discuss a three-step process created for small businesses to define goals, set priorities and measure successes. Albright has extensive experience in the consumer products industry, including his role as president of Pepperidge Farm, Godiva Chocolatier Worldwide and Glacial Confections, a start-up venture. He currently consults with venture capital firms on the food and confectionery industries. He has a degree from Villanova University, an MBA from Indiana University, a Certificate in Financial Planning (CFP) from Boston University and a masters from the French Wine Society (FWS).
Wednesday, January 21, 6-8 pm: Taming Time Management. Do you find yourself overloaded with work, stretched to the limit and totally exhausted without accomplishing your goals?
