Moving the Arts Needle from Nice to Necessary

The Connecticut Office of the Arts invites artists and arts organizations and arts patrons to attend Connecticut Arts Day on March 2 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the State Capitol, 210 Capitol Avenue in Hartford.  The event will feature guest speakers, panel discussions, workshops, performances, and a  keynote by Theo Edmunds, co-founder of IDEAS xLab. Learn how the arts play an integral role in our region from driving innovation to revitalizing our community and strengthening our economy.

This event is produced by the Connecticut Office of the Arts in partnership with the Designated Regional Service Organizations, the Connecticut Arts Alliance, the Connecticut Arts Council and the Connecticut Culture and Tourism Advisory Committee. www.ct.gov/cct

If your organization has materials you would like to display and share at CT Arts Day, please contact the staff at the NW CT Arts Council, one of 9 Designated Regional Service Organizations partnering on this day of celebration, at info@artsnwct.org.  We will have a table at the session where you can have your organization's materials displayed.

We truly hope to see you there on March 2nd!
