Spring into First Fridays at The Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum

The Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum's May First Fridays is all set to kick off an upbeat spring weekend. Visitors are invited to celebrate the warmer weather from 7 to 9 pm on Friday, May 2, with an evening of art and music. Westport-based singer/songwriter Canyon will be on vocals and a local restaurant sponsor (Bistro 7) will serve an hors d'oeuvres tasting menu. There will be a leisurely docent-led tour of the Museum's 50th Anniversary exhibition series at 7:30 pm.

Admission is $15 for Aldrich members, $20 for non-members. For more information, contact Jamie Pearl, events manager: jpearl@aldrichart.org, 203.438.4519, during regular Museum hours. The Aldrich is located at 258 Main Street, Ridgefield, CT 06877.

It is one of only twenty museums in Connecticut and only 318 art museums in the country to be accredited by the American Alliance of Museums. All exhibitions and programs are handicapped accessible. Free on-site parking. Regular Museum hours are Tuesday through Sunday, 12 noon to 5 pm. For more information call 203.438.4519 or visit aldrichart.org.
