Innovations in Spring Flower & Plant Design

Join us at the New Canaan Nature Center on Wednesday, April 1st at 9.30am for a wonderful talk on spring flowers and plant designs lead by Doug Pippitt, Owner of New Canaan Florist, Garden & Gifts.

This exciting session will include a hands-on demonstration with seasonal materials and plant sale.  

Location: New Canaan Nature Center, 9:30 - 11:30am.

New Canaan Beautification League - "Volunteers Keeping​​ New Canaan Beautiful"​

Founded in 1939 for the purpose of the beautification of the community and to provide members with an opportunity to increase their knowledge of gardening and horticulture, the Beautification League has continued to dedicate itself to enhancing the beauty of our town.

Our members range in age and include new residents as well as those who have lived here for many years.  The level of our gardening expertise varies widely.  We welcome novices, experts and everyone in between to join our monthly programs and activities, which are free and open to the public.

Membership is open to all.  Monthly lectures or workshop meetings are held from October to June and are open to the public unless otherwise noted.  Additional activities offered include field trips, garden tours and many civic beautification projects around New Canaan.
