Mid-Day Music

The April 22 Mid-Day Music program features Sara Bennett Wolfe, Cello. The concert starts at 12:05 p.m. and lasts approximately one-half hour. The recital is free but donations are gladly accepted. A light lunch follows for a $5 donation.

Sara Bennett Wolfe is full-time Cello Faculty and Department Head, Talent Education Suzuki School, Norwalk CT. D.M.A. candidate, Rutgers University. M.M. Cello and Suzuki Pedagogy, Cleveland Institute of Music. M.M. Cello Performance, Ithaca College. B.M. Cello Performance, Indiana University. Studies with Jonathan Spitz, Merry Peckham, Elizabeth Simkin, Emilio Colon. Masterclasses with Zuill Bailey, Eric Kim. Suzuki Teacher Training with Pam Devenport, Melissa Kraut. Performance experience: Opera in the Ozarks (principal), Point CounterPoint Chamber Players, Mansfield Symphony Orchestra (principal), Canton Symphony Orchestra, Binghamton Philharmonic Orchestra, Cayuga Chamber Orchestra, Orchestra of the Southern Finger Lakes. Teaching experience: Kinhaven Music School—Junior Session, Westminster Conservatory of Westminster Choir College, Rutgers University Mason Gross School of the Arts—Extension Division, Point CounterPoint Chamber Music Camp, Cleveland Institute of Music—Preparatory Division (Sato Center for Suzuki Studies), Ithaca College (cello teaching assistant).

The concert will be held at St. Paul’s on the Green, 60 East Avenue, Norwalk, CT 06851.
