Bartlett Arboretum & Gardens announces "Music at the Bart"

The Bartlett Arboretum & Gardens announces the start of its Sunday Summer Concert Series beginning on June 28 and running through August 30. Each Sunday, “Music at the Bart” presents two concerts. The morning concerts are from 10-11:00 am and feature Classical performances and the late afternoon Summer Pop concerts are from 5-7:00 pm. The cost is $5 for Members and $10 for non-members. Children under 12 are free.

On Sunday, June 28 at 10:00 a.m., the award winning and internationally renowned Casal brothers, Luis and Isaac will perform the violin and cello, respectively. The brothers began their musical training at ages six and seven, eventually winning scholarships to the prestigious Daniel Heifetz International Institute in Maryland. They have performed worldwide including at Carnegie Hall and the Kennedy Center.   At 5:00 p.m. Jump The Gunn, Fairfield County’s leading modern country band will get you up on your feet as they perform music unique classics from the 60's, 70's and more.

Bring the whole family, a picnic and enjoy the beautiful Music at the Bart Summer Concert Series.
