Beloved Elementary School Celebrates 35 Years

JOIN COLUMBUS MAGNET SCHOOL'S

 35^TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION

 

Calling all Columbus Magnet School current and past students, families, staff and friends! Columbus Magnet School of Norwalk, CT is celebrating 35 years of educational excellence with a variety of activities, and you’re invited. Celebration festivities will take place on Friday, May 20 and Saturday, May 21, 2016.

In true Columbus fashion, the celebration will be kicked off with an All School Meeting on Friday, May 20 at 1:30 pm in the school auditorium. The program will include a Columbus timeline, as well as guest speakers and the singing of Columbus “standards.”

Also on Friday, May 20, an Evening Social (18 and older) will be held in the Community Room at Norwalk City Hall, 7:00-9:00 pm. Join former and current members of the Columbus Community for an evening of wine, cheese, and reminiscing. An admission fee of $10 per person will be collected at the door.

On Saturday, May 21 there will be a Reunion Family Picnic in the Columbus backyard from 12:00-4:00 pm. This is a Bring-Your-Own-Picnic Basket event. An admission fee of $5.00 per family will be collected at the entrance.  Don’t forget your blankets and chairs.
