The Norwalk Historical Society's scavenger hunt, "Hunt for History" is under way! There is still time to take part in the fun! Clue booklets can be picked up on Saturday, April 30 and Sunday, May 1, 2016 from 12:00pm – 4:00pm at the Norwalk Historical Society Museum, 141 East Avenue, Norwalk, CT. Parking is available at Norwalk City Hall, 125 East Avenue. The Museum is the red brick house with blue front doors. Clues are also available on the society's website, www.norwalkhistoricalsociety.org. Submit completed clue booklets at the Colonial History Day Celebration at Mill Hill Historic Park on Saturday, May 7, 2016 by 3:00pm to be entered into a drawing for prizes! The drawing is at 3:30pm and you must be present to win!
Journey on a scavenger hunt for Norwalk history! The clue booklet will contain two scavenger hunts that can be completed in any order. One hunt will take you on a journey inside the new Norwalk Historical Society Museum where answers hide among the exhibits. The second hunt will have you traipsing through the Norwalk Historical Society's Mill Hill Historic Park as you search for answers among the gravestones and old historic homes. An interactive family adventure that is fun and educational!
