Eagle Hill Southport School Free Community Lecture Series

Dr. Maryanne Wolf will speak at Eagle Hill Southport School on Wednesday, October 19, at 7:00 pm. Her topic: "Insights from the Reading Brain: Focusing on Reading Development, Dyslexia, and the Digital Culture." Lectures are free and open to the public. A book signing for her newly published book, Tales of Literacy for the 21st Century: The Literary Agenda, will be immediately following her presentation.

Dr. Wolf is the Director of the Center for Reading and Language Research at Tufts University. She is the author of Proust and the Squid: The Story and Science of the Reading Brain, which has received numerous awards and is now translated into 13 languages. Dr. Wolf has published hundreds of articles on reading and learning disabilities.

EHSS believes in the need to serve as a resource to the learning differences community, and its Community Lecture Series provides opportunities for relevant, engaging conversations about the latest in research and practice in the field, as well as inspiring stories of success.
