Dr. Andrew Smith of the Westport Suzuki School, in concert to benefit KEYS

On Sunday, May 7 at 4 pm, please join KEYS for a fabulous afternoon of music, held in a private home in Ridgefield, CT.  We’re calling the concert “Violins and Voices” and you’ll hear the best of both.

Our featured performer is Dr. Andrew Smith, a prizewinning violinist and graduate of the Royal Academy of Music, UK, who has performed as a soloist with orchestras throughout Europe, North America and China, appearing on television and radio in the UK, Italy, Portugal, China and on US Public Radio and Television.  Andrew is the director of the Suzuki Music Schools of Westport, Orange and Stamford.  Andrew is also the dedicated conductor of the KEYS Orchestra, and last year brought 37 KEYS students to perform in Carnegie Hall.

Andrew will perform solo works, and will also be accompanied on piano by the very talented Gina Wilson of Ridgefield, CT, who is the Chair of the KEYS Board of Directors.

And it wouldn't be a KEYS performance without our students!  Enjoy the vocal talents of our KEYS Chorus, led by KEYS founder, Rob Silvan.  And a very special performance by some of our KEYS Orchestra students, led by Dr. Andrew Smith.

Those interested in attending the concert should contact Laurie Bradbury, Assistant Executive Director of KEYS, at aed@keysmusic.org, or 203-818-9849.  While there is no charge for the concert itself, we ask for donations to KEYS at the event, to support the KEYS music programs in Bridgeport, CT. The concert is being held in a private home and seating is limited, so reservations are required.  For more information about KEYS, please visit our website at www.keysmusic.org .
