Earth Day Celebrations at Miller-Driscoll

In celebration of Earth Day, beginning today and running through Thursday, the children at Miller Driscoll will be participating in some fun activities in the Outdoor Learning Center. Today the kindergardeners will be planting impatiens in the Rainbow Garden.
Tomorrow the 1st graders will have a recycling scavenger hunt and plant veggies. Finally, on Thursday the 2nd graders will listen to a talk about trees and their importance to the Earth and plant pumpkins and sunflowers. The lessons they are learning about the Earth and how
to care for it will remain with them forever. Happy Earth Day!!
