You've got probably a good 8 hours left to shop until you drop- or to be exact, shop until the CT sales tax is raised from 6 to 6.35%. And, I don't know about you, but one of my bragging rights as a resident of Connecticut was that I didn't have to pay tax on purchases of clothing, shoes and accessories under $50.00. That ends at midnight tonight. No after-hours party. So, need I ask what you will do during your lunch hour today? Hit the town and hit it hard. Have fun today because tomorrow is 6.35% day.
