SPHERE Hosts SPIN Fundraiser at JoyRide Ridgefield

SPHERE is holding a Spin Fundraiser on Friday, May 2nd at 6:00pm at JoyRide Ridgefield. SPHERE is a local organization dedicated to enriching the lives of adults with disabilities. The "SPIN for SPHERE" ride is a 50 minute CYCLE class. It is a $50 minimum donation and all funds raised will go to the organization. This year's SPHERE movie is "The Greatest Gatsby" which will be held at the Ridgefield Playhouse this Fall 2014.

All SPIN for SPHERE participants will be placed into a drawing to receive TWO FREE tickets to the opening night for this event. In keeping with the Great Gatsby theme, participants are invited to dress flapper-style for this fun charity event! Afterwards, all riders are invited to join SPHERE for an after-party at the Ancient Mariner.

"We are excited to take advantage of this unique format for fundraising," said Lori Berisford, Chairman of the SPHERE Board. "We think JoyRide has been a wonderful addition to the community and appreciate their donating the studio in order for us to raise funds for this cause."

Rachel Wise is an active member of SPHERE who enjoys going to walking club, bingo, and jewelry class. The support and encouragement from SPHERE has helped Rachel realize her amazing talent as an artist and illustrator, and she has created an image of the JoyRide Spin studio to help promote the event. She has created several coloring books, which are used as storyboards for the SPHERE community as they act out plays and movies.
