Over the weekend, I was invited to a special 'Think Pink' wine tasting, hosted in a beautiful New Canaan home. The event, organized by One Hope Wine Event Specialist, PJ Marcella, with generous hosts Cinzia and Ivano Panetti, was casual, fun and really opened my eyes to the incredible One Hope Organization.
Hope at Home, brings private wine tasting and fundraising into your preferred setting, with 15% of sales from your event going back to your cause of choice. The tastings feature award-winning wine label - One Hope Wines, produced in partnership with Rob Mondavi Jr. out of Napa. One Hope Wine makes an impact with every bottle sold by donating half of profits to partner causes.
What I enjoyed about the evening, apart from it being a brilliant concept and sampling quality wines, was that there was no hard sell! We were simply amongst friends, enjoying good conversation, food and wine. You didn't have to sign up for anything. PJ simply gave us a catalog of One Hope Products & Experiences - such as wines, coffee and gourmet food boxes. Her special link on the brochure means you can order at a special price, plus proceeds from the order will be donated to the chosen cause.
Being Breast Cancer Awareness month, PJ had chosen to donate her party proceeds to Komen Connecticut.
