Winter Garden Supports Wilton Family & all Veterans

Homes for the Brave and ABRI are both local charitable organizations servicing the needs of our returning Veterans.

Winter Garden Ice Arena has volunteered to be a drop off point for Homes for the Brave in support of male and female Veterans.

Supporting Vets is very close to Wilton Garden's heart. They explain:

The current Chairwoman of the Board, Shalini Madaras, is a Wilton mom whose son, Nick, was killed in action. Nick and his sister both grew up playing hockey here, however Nick's first love was soccer. Many of you may know of the "Kicks for Nick" soccer ball donation in Wilton that collects soccer balls which are sent to Iraq to bring the sport to the children, a donation that Nick started before he was killed.

So we ask you to help others, and follow the example of this very giving family.
