Mary Ann Wasil Daisy 5K at Lauralton Hall Raises Awareness for Breast Cancer

Mary Ann Wasil Daisy 5K Run/Walk for Breast Cancer Awareness on October 29

Lauralton Hall announces the Mary Ann Wasil Daisy 5K Run/Walk for Breast Cancer Awareness on Saturday, October 29 on Lauralton Hall Turf Field (200 High Street, Milford). Registration begins at 12:30. 

The event benefits the Get In Touch Foundation and honors its founder and leader, Mary Ann Wasil who passed away on April 15, 2016. 

Runners are walkers of all ages are invited and encouraged to walk for courage, hope, faith and strength in support of breast cancer awarenss on Saturday, October 29. There is a $10 entry fee and participants will receive a t-shirt, subway lunch and a raffle ticket! 

Festivities in the center of the turf field during the Daisy 5K include crossbows, pendulum bowling, and sling shot launches that have been built by the AP Physics and Engineering students. 

Each lap of the 5K will earn participants a daily petal toward the creation of their own Daisy Wheel. 

All funds raised benefit Get in Touch Foundation. The mission of the Foundation is to provide breast health initiatives that educate gals and guys of all ages how to "get in touch" with their bodies, information, and each other in our crusade against breast cancer.
