Wilton Police host Stuff A Cruiser to benefit Wilton Food Pantry

On Saturday November 12, 2016 from 10:00 am to 2:00 PM the Wilton Police Department will be conducting a “Stuff-a-Cruiser” event in the Wilton Stop and Shop parking lot located at 5 River Road Wilton, CT. The event will benefit the Wilton Social Services food pantry.

The mission of the Wilton Department of Social Services is to meet the social and psychological needs of Wilton residents of all ages. This is accomplished by providing information and referrals regarding local, state and federal social service programs, financial assistance, short term counseling, and by sponsoring the Wilton Senior Center and community programs for all ages. Wilton Youth Services is also part of the Wilton Social Services. The Department works closely with other town departments to provide assistance and support to Wilton residents. During an emergency event, Wilton Social Services is part of the town's Emergency Management Team.

Perishable and non-perishable food and paper goods that will be collected include:

  • Toilet Paper
  • Tissues 
  • Paper Towels
  • Tooth Paste 
  • Tooth Brushes
  • Soap
  • Shampoo & Conditioner
  • Body Wash
  • Deodorant
  • Landry Detergent 
  • Dishwashing Soap
  • Coffee/Tea
  • Cold Cereal/Oatmeal
  • Peanut Butter/Jelly (NOT grape)
  • Mayo/Ketchup/Mustard
  • Salad Dressing
  • Hearty Soup
  • Pasta Sauce & Pasta
  • Mac & Cheese
  • Pancake Mix & Syrup
  • Juice Boxes & School Snacks
  • Grocery Store Gift Cards
