“Sexiest Man Alive”Michael Bolton returns to The Ridgefield Playhouse on Wednesday, March 25

Multi-talented recording artist and performer Michael Bolton is returning to The Ridgefield Playhouse on Wednesday, March 25, at 8 p.m. The “Best Pop Male Artist” Grammy® Award Winner will sing his mega hits such as “How Am I Supposed to Live Without You”, “When a Man Loves a Woman” and so many more. Bolton’s timeless style, charm and good looks earned him a spot in several “People Magazine’s Sexiest Man” issues, including the distinction of 2012’s “Sexiest Man Alive”.

Because of Bolton’s versatility as a singer/songwriter crossing genres, he has performed with some of the music world’s icons as diverse as Luciano Pavarotti and B.B. King, and his songs have been recorded and performed by more than 100 artists. Bolton has collaborated with some of today’s greatest songwriters and producers including Lady Gaga, Diane Warren, Desmond Child, David Foster and Phil Ramone.  Bolton is one of the very few artists to have co-written with the legendary Bob Dylan, resulting in the mega hit “Steel Bars”. Michael has written #1 hit singles impacting the careers of artists Laura Branigan (“How Am I Supposed to Live Without You”), KISS (“Forever”), Barbra Streisand (“We’re Not Making Love Anymore”), Cher (“I Found Someone”), and Kenny G (“By the Time This Night is Over”).

In recognition of his artistic achievements, Michael has garnered not only Grammies but also six American Music Awards and a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.  He has earned more than 24 BMI & ASCAP Awards, including Songwriter of the Year, nine Million-Air awards, and the Hitmakers Award from the Songwriters Hall of Fame. Bolton remains committed to humanitarian causes, especially through the Michael Bolton Charities, now in its 20th Year of advocating on behalf of women and children at risk.
