Celebrate May Day, Friday, May 1st, and "Brush Up Your Shakespeare" with the Music on the Hill Chamber Chorus in this final concert of the 2014-2015 season of Music at Pequot Library.
The 16-voice Chamber Chorus performs settings of The Bard's immortal texts by composers from Purcell to the present, including selections from such popular musicals as Cole Porter's "Kiss Me, Kate" and Bernstein's "West Side Story."
The performance takes place in the striking Concert Hall of the Pequot Library, on the National Register of Historic Places.
