The Ridgefield chapter of B.I.G. Believe, Inspire, Grow is pleased to host a special presentation on “Supporting Women’s Entrepreneurship” with the Chamber of Commerce's Executive Director Susan Ahlstrom. The meeting will take place on May 6th at 12pm at the Tigers’ Den Sports Bar & Grill (23 Catoonah Street).
Ms. Ahlstrom has experience as both a start-up owner and entrepreneur. She was one of the first U.S. franchise owners of The Body Shop, a U.K. company. Susan will be sharing her insights on female entrepreneurship as well as what resources the chamber offers business owners.
“Many of our members are home-based solopreneurs and we are looking forward to hearing from Susan how we can utilize the resources that the Chamber offers in order to build our businesses in the Ridgefield community and beyond,” says co-leader Kate Fitzpatrick, CEO and Founder of Kate Fitzpatrick Consulting.
Hundreds of women across the country are already participating in B.I.G. Believe, Inspire, Grow. This membership-based organization utilizes face-to-face community meetings, an interactive website and monthly teleconferences to provide intelligent women a positive and educational support network to help move their business ideas forward.
The Ridgefield pod was founded by Ridgefield resident Amy Polacko, Executive Regional Vice President with Arbonne International, in 2012 and currently co-led by Ridgefield resident Kate Denoyer Fitzpatrick, CEO and Founder of Kate Fitzpatrick Consulting. It is a thriving resource for women in business; it meets once each month to feature speakers and workshops on a variety of topics.
