Opening Day @ Wilton Farmers’ Market

• June 10, 2015 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm

The Wilton Farmers’ Market will open its 2015 season at the Wilton Historical Society on Wednesday, June 10th, 2015!

Supported by the Wilton Chamber of Commerce and the Wilton Historical Society, the market takes place every Wednesday from 12-5pm, through October 28th. The market features picnic tables to encourage shoppers to “dine” at the market, as well as entertainment and activities for children throughout the season.

About The Market

The Wilton Farmers’ Market is comprised of local farmers and artisans who come together to provide shoppers a venue in which to purchase the best products from local vendors. Featured are local produce, culinary treats, baked goods, and other tasty goodness from Ambler Farm, Gazy Brothers Farm, Bistro du Soleil and Beldotti Breads – to name just a few. A variety of local artisans, including Anita Designs, Nutmeg Candle, Fairfield Seaglass and Three Bluebirds, will also be present each week.

The market also serves as a community gathering place to educate the public about eating locally and making nutritious, healthy food choices. Featured this year will be organizations like Next Step Living, CT Chapter of the Northeast Organic Farmers Association (CT NOFA) and CT Clean Energy Options.

A website detailing the market’s dates, times, location (with map), parking information, 2015 roster, seasonal menu planning and contact information is available atwww.wiltonfarmersmarket.com.
