Bo Bice of American Idol brings Blood Sweat & Tears to Ridgefield Playhouse tomorrow

Blood Sweat and Tears returns with a new show and new frontman – Bo Bice of American Idol on December 2 at The Ridgefield Playhouse

Blood Sweat & Tears, now powered by the big voice of American Idol’s Bo Bice, is the band best known for the Grammy Award winning hits “You’ve Made Me So Very Happy,” “Spinning Wheel,” “Hi-De-Ho,” and “Go Down Gamblin’.”  Fans can hear these iconic songs, sung by one of the best voices to ever grace the stage of a reality music show, at The Ridgefield Playhouse on Wednesday, December 2 at 8:00 p.m.  It’s been more than four decades since drummer/producer Bobby Colomby and friends assembled the first group to successfully blend rock and jazz into a genre-crossing sound and style.

The members may have changed over the years, but the soul of Blood Sweat & Tears (BS&T) lives on. Inspired by their founding father’s original vision, “find the greatest musicians and the rest is easy,” BS&T has re-established themselves as one of the hottest touring acts in the world, playing the songs that started their meteoric rise as well as complicated jazz riffs to audiences worldwide. BS&T hits continue to get audiences on their feet!  This performance, part of the Pepsi Rock Series powered by Xfinity and partially underwritten by Nutmeg Livery, starts off with a “shopportunity” with Lyn Evans Potpourri Designs in the lobby - holiday shopping at your convenience while out for a show.

Before the show, visit Dog and Pony (378 Main Street, Ridgefield) for dinner and enjoy a complimentary glass of house wine or draft beer when tickets are presented.

For tickets ($70), call or visit the box office at The Ridgefield Playhouse, (203) 438-5795. The Ridgefield Playhouse is a not-for-profit performing arts center located at 80 East Ridge, parallel to Main Street, Ridgefield, CT; ridgefieldplayhouse.org.
