July brings Myda Iamiceli to the Weir Farm Artist-in-Residence program. Her work will focus on creating storyboards, editing video interviews and creating design elements for a video project about the experiences of second-generation Cuban-Americans. This project is timely and will show a different point of view, that of the child of the immigrant. Using the natural beauty of Connecticut she plans to use that inspiration to create some small works to augment her video work. Co-sponsored by Weir Farm Art Center and Weir Farm National Historic Site and presented by Wilton Library. No charge. Registration suggested.
